Dragons
From loose watercolour drawings to detailed ink illustrations, there is no denying that dragons capture my imagination. I have drawn a variety of these scaly beasts over the past few years, inspired both from ancient stories to popular culture. I have always enjoyed exploring the idea of what a dragon can look like.

Both of these serpentine creatures are both comical, yet fierce. The first image is a close up detail of my take on a Mòrag, otherwise known as the Loch Ness Monster. I included Japanese onomatopoeia in the drawing, where the dragon is screaming or shrieking a long drawn out “gyaaaaa!” ( ぎゃーああああ!). The Lava Dragon was drawn using ink, then coloured with Winsor & Newton Promarkers.
