Working as a team, we intensively worked eight consecutive days on the creation of Shiota’s art installation, Other Side.
Like human spiders, we weaved countless balls of yarn throughout the first floor gallery space. In order to fill the space, we started from the walls and worked our way to the centre, working up and down with the use of ladders, a scissor lift, and simply throwing the yarn balls over and through secure lines.
