As an Activities Coordinator at Inglewood Nursing Home, I planned and delivered a variety of stimulating and therapeutic activities for residents, such as reminiscence sessions, gentle armchair exercises, arts & crafts and themed entertainment. I supported Head of Activities, Sara Manson, and the Health Care Team to encourage a caring culture at Inglewood, promoting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of the residents. During my three and a half years within the Activities Department, I was responsible for planning and leading most of the art and craft sessions.
